Hello, this kayak trailer is about 16ft long And comes standard with 66 inch cross bars.
What makes this trailer so great and why we highly recommend it at Paddlers Cove?
For starters, it is a hot dipped galvanized trailer.
What that means is there is an extra coating of protection the the steel to try and prevent rust.
The Trailer also comes with Torsion Axle. This really helps prevent the trailer from bouncing around when you hit pot holes , speed bumps as well as some other obstacles on the road that may prevent a standard spring leaf trailer from having some movement.
The longer Tounge helps with backing up, the rule of thumb with trailers are the longer they are the easier they are to back up in a straight line. (Trailer Tounge can also be shorted by request).
And lastly, all of our Loadrite trailers are welded. These are not kit trailers and no assembly is required. Just hook it up and go.
