Shipping
Free standard shipping on orders $99 and up
Most paddles, PFDs, accessories, electronics, and apparel ship free within the contiguous United States on qualifying orders over $99. Orders under $99 ship at standard carrier rates calculated at checkout.
Kayaks, canoes, and trailers
Kayaks, canoes, and trailers are in-store pickup only at our Washington, NJ storefront (218 NJ-31). Freight shipping for hulls and trailers carries a high risk of in-transit damage that's not covered by standard carriers, so we don't ship them. If you've ordered a kayak online, we'll contact you to schedule a pickup time.
Oversized accessories
Some larger accessories (longer paddles, kayak carts, certain rack systems) may ship at a calculated freight rate even if your order qualifies for free standard shipping. The added charge will show at checkout before you confirm.
Processing time
In-stock items ship within 1–2 business days. Drop-ship items (Bending Branches, AquaBound, NuCanoe, Nocqua, Malone trailers, and others) ship directly from the supplier and typically arrive within 5–10 business days. Tracking is emailed as soon as the supplier provides it.
Damaged in transit
Please inspect your order on delivery. If anything arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage and the original packaging. We'll work with the carrier to file a claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you.
Returns
Kayaks, canoes, and watercraft
All kayak, canoe, and watercraft sales are final. Due to the nature of these products and the risk of in-water damage after pickup, we do not accept returns. We strongly encourage you to visit the storefront before purchase to demo or inspect a hull in person. Our team is happy to walk you through your options.
Accessories — 30 day return window
Most accessories can be returned within 30 days of delivery. To qualify:
- Item must be unused and in original packaging.
- All original tags, manuals, and accessories must be included.
- You must contact us first via the contact form to receive an RMA number.
- Customer covers return shipping unless the item is defective or shipped in error.
Drop-shipped items
Items that ship directly from the supplier (Bending Branches, AquaBound, NuCanoe, Nocqua, Malone trailers, and similar drop-ship brands) are final sale and not eligible for return once shipped. If a drop-shipped item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours and we will work directly with the supplier to resolve it.
Non-returnable items
- Used or water-tested kayaks, canoes, and watercraft.
- Drop-shipped items, as above.
- Custom or made-to-order items.
- Items damaged by misuse or normal wear.
- Final-sale items (clearly marked at the time of purchase).
Refund timing
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Synchrony financing refunds may take an additional 1–2 billing cycles to reflect on your statement.
Warranty
Most products carry the manufacturer's original warranty. We'll help you process warranty claims directly with the manufacturer. Contact us with your order number and a description of the issue, and we'll get the process started.
