This really helps prevent the trailer from bouncing around when you hit pot holes , speed bumps as well as some other obstacles on the road that may prevent a standard spring leaf trailer from having some movement. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe longer Tounge helps with backing up, the rule of thumb with trailers are the longer they are the easier they are to back up in a straight line.
