Come join us for an exciting day of outdoor activity. This is a great opportunity to try out different styles of kayaks. General kayak designs will be discussed and the essential equipment necessary for safety. Paddle days help you to choose the right kayak.
No charge, No instruction, an opportunity to try various kayaks
Merrill Creek Reservoir 10 to 4 pm (next date T.B.A.)
These trips are to Merrill Creek and are scheduled in advance. Please let us know that you will be joining us at least 24 hours prior to the launch time to ensure that a boat has been reserved for you. Call to find out which boats are available to try; the selection rotates as some boats are sold.

Inflatable kayaks are a great fit for any kayaking adventure. Not only are inflatable
kayaks durable, but they can be priced to fit any budget. An inflatable kayak is
easy to store and very light weight, making it an optimal boat for anyone who is
looking for a good time out on the water.
Kayaking gear is essential to any paddler for both safety and pleasure reasons.
PaddlersCove offers a great selection of kayak gear to prepare you for early season
paddling.We carry Stohlquist,Harmony,Bending branches,Pelican and many more. Remember we are looking for a combined air and water temperature of 120
degrees to paddle safely with limited kayak gear, roughly 3 to 5mm of neoprene.
Some kayak gear that you could consider would be dry tops, dry suits, neoprene paddling
John's or Janes, and neoprene booties and gloves.
Sit on top kayaks are great for any paddling adventure. Unlike a sit in, sit on
top kayaks offer easy off and on access. A sit on top kayak would be a good fit
for a family wanting to paddle in local lakes and rivers. Sit on top kayaks are
also great for children becuase of the ability to climb off and on the boat easily,
and because a sit on top kayak is self bailing.
